I’m interested in this internship. Where do I apply?
What’s up Marcus. The flyer says to send your resume with a cover letter and, if applicable, writing samples to the following address:
Natalie M. Hibbert
Director of Human Resources
BLACK ENTERPRISE
130 Fifth Avenue, 10th Floor
New York, NY 10011
The deadline is February 20, 2009
If you have further questions you can send an email to internships@blackenterprise.com
Good luck!

Is this for juniors and senior who are in college or for high schoolers?????
I am interested in interning with this program, but my field is Textile Engineering. Does this program offer any research for this field?
Thanks for commenting everyone. I’d like to preface my response by saying that I do not work for Black Enterprise and don’t have anything to do with the internship program or selection process. I just ran across the information about the program and wanted to share it with people who may be interested.
Sandy: The internship is for college juniors, seniors, and graduate students.
Mike: I don’t know if this internship offers any specific research in this field, but I wouldn’t let that keep you from applying for one of the internship positions. Many times employers like applicants with non-traditional and diverse backgrounds and fields. However, to get the best answer to your question you should send an email to internships@blackenterprise.com
Good luck to the both of you!

Hi,
I know that someone has already asked that question, but I would please like to clarify. Can a rising college junior apply?
Hi Kristina,
I don’t think so. If you’re a “rising junior” then that really means that you’re a sophomore. The flyer says that they are looking for “motivated juniors, seniors, and graduate level college students” not “rising” juniors, seniors, etc.
But again, I don’t work for BE nor do I have anything to do with the internship selection process. I just posted this to spread the word. So your best bet will be to direct all future questions/concerns to this email address: internships@blackenterprise.com
Thanks for stopping by, and GOOD LUCK!

Actually Kristina you can apply. I interned at BE a few years ago while going into my sophomore year in college so its definitely possible. It was a great experience btw.
