You need to know Damon Weaver. This 10-year-old 5th grade student has been making headlines for a minute now as a “cub” reporter. This little man has interviewed everyone from Caroline Kennedy, Dwyane Wade, and CNN’s Suzanne Malveaux. However, his most famous interview was with Vice President-elect Joe Biden, after which he proudly proclaimed: “Senator Biden is now my homeboy! (I need to get my weight up! LOL!)
Now Damon wants to interview President-elect Barack Obama at his Inauguration, and doggone it, I think he should get to! He got one step closer yesterday by finally getting his hands on prized Inauguration press credentials, but almost doesn’t count—I want him to score that interview with B.O.!
