This evening, I added some contacts to my address book.  A friend and I attended a panel discussion on digital media and online publishing sponsored by the NY Chapter of the National Alliance of Market Developers .  The event was held at the prestigious Fashion Institute of Technology and there were some major media heavy hitters there including: Alfred Edmond Jr. (Sr. VP/Editor-in-Chief of BlackEnterprise.com), Raymond O’Neal (General Manager/Executive Producer for Uptownlife.net), Amy Andrieux (General Manager at The Source magazine), and one of my personal role models SekouWrites (you just need to Google him).

As you can imagine, expert advice and insight was abundant, but of all the knowledge that the panelists spit on digital media and online publishing, Raymond O’Neal set it off for me when he said “This is hustle unlike you’ve ever seen before.”  If I know anything, I know that the person who grinds the hardest and the smartest is the person that becomes their dream.  Some people never achieve their goals because they either don’t work hard enough or don’t work smart enough.

You and I don’t have to be that person.  In 2009, I’m gonna hustle unlike I’ve ever hustled before.  You should too.
